Is the care centre open all year round?

Day care and after-school care are open all year round, except for public holidays and KinderRijk seminar days. During holiday weeks and school closing days, after-school care is open all day. Preschool care is only open during school weeks. KinderRijk’s locations will close at 4pm on 24 and 31 December 2025.

* This seminar day applies only to the MKC Mio Mondo location. All other locations will be open on that day.
** Besides the annual KinderRijk seminar day in April, we will be organising a seminar afternoon for our educational professionals. These will be conducted in October and November. Each location will be assigned to 1 of these afternoons.

*** In the old agreements for 51 weeks (which we no longer actively offer), there is no childcare during the days between Christmas and New Year’s.
