An extra day or a different day can be requested using the parent app/web portal. It’s is nice and easy, as you no longer need to submit applications to the location or the group.
When requesting an extra day or a different day, you, the parent can choose to use your credit points or to be charged for the extra day. An extra day or a different day can of course only be awarded if the size of the group allows for this, as well as the professional staff/child ratio and the group composition.
Useful to know
- Requests for an extra day or a different day can be made up to 3 months ahead.
- After you have made the request, an extra day or a different day will be awarded up to 2 weeks beforehand. For example, if you request a day in 3 weeks’ time, it will take a week before you receive notice. If you request a day for next week, you will be notified practically immediately.
- For after-school care, your credit points for two school afternoons can be used as one single holiday/school closing day. The credit point for one holiday/school closing day can only be used for one holiday/school closing day.
- At the care centre, your credit point for one entire care day cannot be used for two half care days.
