Our day care Children’s Campus King is a beautiful location with a pleasant atmosphere. Our groups are laid out in an attractive and inspiring way with materials that the children enjoy playing with. Day care Children’s Campus King is surrounded by a delightful nature garden with an outdoor workshop, kitchen, water course and climbing and clambering areas. In short, a garden with plenty of opportunities to play and go on an exploration. And if we prefer to stay inside, we can also use the large central hall or the workshop. We are a close-knit team with a great deal of knowledge through varying years of experience. We create a safe base by being there for the children. We listen to them and like to find out what they want to do. For every age, we organise activities in sports, creativity, music, dance, theatre and cooking.
When children turn 4, they make the transition to primary school. Through our cooperation with primary school and after-school care at the campus, the children are already familiar with the location and the staff. This makes the transition much easier for children.

What does a day look like for us?
Babies follow a daily schedule according to their own needs

Between 7:30 and 9:15 a.m., we welcome your child and discuss how your child is doing. 09.30
After you have said goodbye to each other, we will start at the table. We sing songs, talk to children about what they are up to and discuss what we are going to do that day. We also have something small to eat and drink. 10.30
There is room for free play and activities aimed at the child’s development. This can be either inside the group or central hall or outside in the garden. 11.30
Lunchtime! We will have lunch together with the children. This is either a cold lunch or a hot lunch. The older children help set and clear the table. 13.00
The younger children take an afternoon nap and the older children take a rest in the group. Have the older children taken a rest? Then they go off to play freely. 15.00
When most children are awake, it is time to eat and drink something. After this, the children can participate in an activity focused on the child’s development or play freely. 16.00
From 4 p.m. you can pick up your child again and it’s time for the handover with the educational staff member and to go through the day. The educational staff member will particularly go into your child’s growth during the day. Practical information
Settling in at day care
During the settling-in period, we take the time to get to know your child and you, and to let you get used to the new situation. Settling in an individual process suited to the developmental stage of children and to the specific needs and habits of the children and the parents.

At day care Children’s Campus King, we have 4 vertical groups. This means that care is provided to children of different ages between 0 and 4 together.

Hello, my name is Pien and I have been working at KinderRijk for 30 years. While I started as a location manager at several after-school care locations, I have now enjoyed being location manager of day care, after-school care and preschool Children’s Campus King for many years.
“The King is a place for children aged 0 to 13 to grow up together, learn, play, meet, discover, experiment and develop their talents. A team of passionate professionals organises the alignment of education, care and parenting. Several staff members work at the day care, preschool, the after-school care and also at the primary school, which gives children a great feel of familiarity.”
