Our Aalberselaan day-care location is situated in the centre of Amstelveen, close to the Stadshart. We have put a great deal of care and attention into the layout and design, which is reflected in the group rooms. They have an inviting and refreshing layout. There is ample daylight, the ambience and colours are harmonious and the interior is attractively furnished. All group rooms border on a large garden. This is laid out as a nature garden where the children can have fun doing all kinds of things and go on an exploration.
We are a versatile team with many different qualities and years of experience. This is demonstrated in our activity programme with a variety of music and dance activities, children’s yoga and creative activities. Every day is a new day with new opportunities and possibilities.

What does a day look like with us?
Babies follow a daily schedule according to their own needs

Between 7:30 and 9:15 a.m., we welcome your child and discuss how your child is doing. 09.30
After you have said goodbye to each other, we will start at the table. We sing songs, talk to children about what they are up to and discuss what we are going to do that day. We also have something small to eat and drink. 10.30
There is room for free play and activities aimed at the child’s development. This can be either inside the group or central hall or outside in the garden. 11.30
Lunchtime! We will have lunch together with the children. This is either a cold lunch or a hot lunch. The older children help set and clear the table. 13.00
The younger children take an afternoon nap and the older children take a rest in the group. Have the older children taken a rest? Then they go off to play freely. 15.00
When most children are awake, it is time to eat and drink something. After this, the children can participate in an activity focused on the child’s development or play freely. 16.00
From 4 p.m. you can pick up your child again and it’s time for the handover with the educational staff member and to go through the day. The educational staff member will particularly go into your child’s growth during the day. Practical information
Settling in at day care
During the settling-in period, we take the time to get to know your child and you, and to let you get used to the new situation. Settling in an individual process suited to the developmental stage of children and to the specific needs and habits of the children and the parents.

At day care Aalberselaan, we have 5 groups: 2 babygroups (0 – 2 years), 2 toddler groups (2- 4 years) and 1 vertical group (0 – 4 years).
