We are expanding our offering and will be including VE-plus (Early Childhood Education Plus). This new type of childcare is designed for toddlers who can do with just that little extra help to thrive. The new location is situated on Populierenlaan<\/a> in Amstelveen.

Small groups and personal attention<\/strong><\/strong>
Up to 10 toddlers are looked after by 2 experienced educational professionals in the plus group. The small group size allows for even more personal attention. The quiet setting and clear structure help the children develop in the best possible way. We also work closely with the other providers of Early Childhood Education (VE) (Majest and Wolkewietje), the City of Amstelveen and with associated specialist partners in order to provide the children with appropriate support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The object is to help the children become the best version of themselves. And to ensure that – with this extra push – they can confidently make the move to (regular) primary education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A growing need<\/strong><\/strong>
Margreet Hellemons-van Dijk (chairman of the board of the KinderRijk Foundation) believes that the introduction of VE-plus is a vital step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Increasingly more children need extra support. This is acknowledged by KinderRijk, the other providers of Early Childhood Education (Dutch: VE) in Amstelveen, the City of Amstelveen and its collaborative partners. Unfortunately, existing Preschool Early Childhood Education (VE) does not always meet this need. That is why we considered together how we could help these children better, which resulted in this new initiative. By the introduction of the VE-plus group (subsidised by the City) on Populierenlaan, these children too will receive the attention they deserve.”<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social childcare<\/strong><\/strong>
Offering VE-plus (Early Childhood Education Plus) is in keeping with our social nature. As a social childcare organisation, we invest our returns in the development of children and staff. And we are dedicated to all children. ‘A promising future for everyone<\/em>‘ is appropriately our\u00a0theme of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
