Childcare allowance<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Do you and your partner both work and does your child attend childcare, after-school care or preschool? You may be eligible for childcare allowance from the government. This also applies if you are a single working parent, taking a training or mandatory integration course or a pathway that increases your chances of employment. Childcare-allowance level<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The amount of the childcare allowance depends on your income. The allowance table 2026<\/a> of the Central Government shows what percentage of childcare allowance you are entitled to based on your (joint) income. You can also make a preliminary test calculation<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Childcare-allowance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The calculation of the childcare allowance is made on the basis of the maximum hourly rate set by the government. From 1 January 2026 the maximum hourly rate for day care (incl. day care plus) and preschool is \u20ac 11.23. From 1 January 2026 the maximum hourly rate for after-school care is \u20ac 9.98.The difference between the maximum hourly rate set by the government and the hourly rate of KinderRijk is for your own account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can receive a reimbursement up to a maximum of 230 childcare hours per month and per child. Irrespective of the number of hours you work or whether you work or study, for example.<\/p>\n\n<\/div> <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n
