These only apply to parents with an agreement signed before March 1, 2023.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>    \n<\/section>\n\n<section id=\"section-block_c39fb9f3781184b39a11fc9a16ae8eba\" class=\"block-section  margin-top-0 margin-bottom-0 bg-color-\" style=\";\">\n    <div class=\"background\">\n                <div class=\"bg-color\" style=\"background-color:\"><\/div>\n            <\/div>\n    <div class=\"container text-col position-relative padding-top-100 padding-bottom-100\">\n        <div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-pink-color has-text-color\"><strong><strong>Childcare Act<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Childcare Act regulates the quality and financing of childcare in the Netherlands. The law has two main objectives: ensuring adequate quality and guaranteeing the accessibility of childcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The government has determined minimum quality requirements. These requirements relate to the participation of parents via parent committees, training requirements for staff, safety and health, accommodation and design of the childcare locations, the size of the groups and the number of employees per group, the pedagogical policy and practice, and the complaints procedure for parents and parent participation. Supervision of compliance with the law has been placed with Public Health Service (GGD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-pink-color has-text-color\">Payment <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Childcare allowance is a contribution from the government to the costs incurred by parents for childcare. Parents can receive childcare allowance if they use a registered childcare facility or a registered childminder who is affiliated with a registered childminder agency. There are conditions attached to the right to childcare allowance. The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.belastingdienst.nl\/wps\/wcm\/connect\/bldcontenten\/belastingdienst\/individuals\/individuals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tax authorities<\/a>&nbsp;will pay the allowance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-pink-color has-text-color\">Childcare register<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible for childcare allowance, a child must be looked after at a registered childcare center.
